| GAROS is a family company with a butchery history that dates back to the 1930s. The company is currently managed and being taken to the future by the second generation. GAROS’s strong market position as a supplier and partner to meat, poultry and fish industry customers around the world is based on a long tradition. The company began as an equipment agent, however, in 1985 GAROS started developing and designing its own brine injectors and tumblers, very quickly establishing ourselves as the leading supplier to our segment of the grocery industry in Scandinavia. Since then, we have gradually expanded both our operations and markets. GAROS has a strong ownership image with part owners the Norwegian Landteknikk Group; we have a stable economic platform for continued innovative technical development and expansion. |

| The Landteknikk Group has an annual turnover of over SEK 600 million and is owned by Nortura and Tine, which are two of the largest grocery companies in Norway. The extensive resources in the group in the form of technical and engineering expertise also favour and can assist in some of GAROS’s future technical ventures. In recent years, GAROS has intensified its focus on the development of new machines and systems. One example of new machinery that has been well received in the market is a whole NEW Generation of Brine/Marinating Injectors/Tenderisers, which made their debut at IFFA 2007 and have in many ways already set a new market standard for this type of equipment. GAROS’s market position as an innovative technology company with its own production and own brands is continually strengthened. We focus greatly on development and manufacturing of our own designs, machines and production lines with a high degree of automation. |
